I started painting about 15 years ago, when I was in School. A mate said he was taking a trip to a Truro in Cornwall, and would I like to go with him to a little shop called Truro Micro.A shop which stocked wargames miniatures such as Games workshop. I was instantly hooked, I then painted through my school and college years winning a fair few of the annual competitons the local shop held. Although still to this day I have never had a game of any wargame apart from a little Bloodbowl in my younger years.I only started working as a miniature artist at the end of 2007, when I was a little poor one day and sold some of my painted miniatures on ebay. They seemed to go very well, so I decided to give up my career as a restaurant manager of 9 years to persue this. Bit risky I know, but I am still getting new commissions coming in, which is paying the bills. But its not just about that for me, I have a real passion for painting miniatures and now more recently sculpting them to. I love the work I get to do and I am very greatful to all the customers who have commissioned me to paint miniature for them, after all with out them I would still be serving people their dinner!!!
Well, what can I say I love my job!! I get to paint toy soilders all day :0)
I am always on the look out for commissions to paint miniatures and now sculpt work.. This is offen a negociation process between me and the customer, to find a price we are both happy with. I will be adding to this part of my blog soon, with a price guide for commission painting. However in the meen time if you are interested in owning a peice of my work please email me with the details, and I will get back to you.
I also sell a lot of miniatures on ebay so keep a look out.
